Stacking the Shelves: Derailed and in Pieces, Withering

Unlike last week, I had quite a haul this time! Apart from Wither, which I finally bought in paperback because I'd been resisting its lure for forever, it was all ebooks though.

So first the ones I bought:

I loved Jus Accardo's Touch, so a novella from Kale's point of view sounded awesome! And the christmas-y book... well. I don't usually read holiday-themed books, but I really like the cover for this one and I read a good review and it sounded fun and it was cheap *shrug* I'll see how I like it. It's short, too. For The Grimm Diaries, I was part of the promo and just couldn't resist getting them :)

Pieces, by Michelle Davidson Argyle
Florence,by Ciye Cho

I'm part of the blog tour for Pieces in February and am currently reading the first book, The Breakaway. I'm not very far in yet but enjoying what I've read. I was requested to review Florence by the author, and I'm curious about it because it'll be my first mermaid book.

Won:

Derailed, by Alyssa Rose Ivy

I've been curious about this one for a while now because it's New Adult and the premise sounds interesting. I hope I'll get to read it soon, and I also have Alyssa's book Flight on my kindle, waiting to be read... I need to do an ebook-reading-intervention soon >.<

Stacking the Shelves, or: how I outwitted The Ban

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews to show off the new books we got, be they gifted, borrowed, bought, for review, print or ebooks.

I'm still on a book buying ban... but kindle freebies and kindle books bought with a giftcard I won don't count. Right? Right? It's called book buying ban after all, not book receiving ban *whistles innocently*

I'm really curious about all of these! And I loooove the  covers! A vampire dystopian, a ballet girl/bad boy contemporary, a vampire boarding school book, and an urban fantasy. Can't wait to get through my pile and dig into these :D (Yes you see just how big of a bad conscience I've got...)

Oh, and I posted two new reviews this week. You can check out my thoughts about Ironskin and Death and the Girl Next Door. I enjoyed both. What's next on the read-but-not-yet-reviewed pile is Carnival of Souls and Scorch (still). I've been in a bit of a review slump. And I should write two more reviews for books coming out on Tuesday but I haven't finished reading them yet.
