I've never read a Jennifer Echols book before so I'm really excited to be on the tour! As for Unhinged, the wait is pure torture so when that sampler popped up on Netgalley, I had to have it!

I loved Black City and needed Phoenix asap! I'm reading it like now and really liking where it's headed.
Notes from the Blender is a book I'd won as an ebook already, but I just needed a print version. The paperback is out now so you can get it cheap - it's worth it for that beautiful cover alone! But the story is one of the best and funniest contemporaries I've ever read! You really should check it out :)

I've never read a Sherrilyn Kenyon book but I've been intrigued with the premise of Infinity for a while! I love reading guy-POV books every now and again. Plus, demon-hunters!
Everyone went nuts over The Collector. I'd planned to get the paperback but I couldn't resist it when it was that cheap. Savour You was only 99c when I got it last night. It's Kylie's story, and I really liked her character in Devoured. Article 5 is another one I was really interested in when it came out last year but I somehow never got round to it. I'm only now warming up to dystopians... that most people are getting sick of them :P Wonky timing.
Some Girls Are sounds like a gritty contemporary revenge story, and I can't resist those. And Unmaking Hunter Kennedy is for when I'm in the mood for a typical summer read :)

I've already read & loved Falling To Ash and just got started on Splintered. I've wanted that book for sooo long, and then it took an eternity to ship. But I finally have it :D I'm also excited about The Replacement. It was on sale on TBD for only a little over 3 euros, so I couldn't resist. It's my first Brenna Yovanoff book. The photo doesn't really do the beauty of all the covers justice by the way, and I'm sorry the pretty face of the guy on The Replacement got eclipsed by my flash...

I breezed through All Over You, the prequel novella for Devoured, in a single setting. The other ones were freebies or books I read reviews for and then bought on a whim. I'm particularly curious about The Devil's Metal, a story about a rock band and some paranormal stuff happening and a music journalist - all of that in the 1970s!


I have too many books >.< I am putting myself on another ban. I have still books I've already ordered that are still to arrive, and lately I've been buying way too many ebooks. Hard as it is: no more books for now!!!

Well, I think by now you're familiar with my book buying ban until I've read up on my stack... but honestly, I thought I broke it this week. A book I wanted was only 99c on amazon for two days so I bought it, with a slightly bad conscience. Then I realized that I actually still had some giftcard money on my account, so I didn't technically break the ban, even though I thought I was and bought the book anyway. It's just so hard not to buy any books! Anyhow, here's what I 'bought':

I looooove this cover! And I've been feeling like reading something a bit more adult. This is still NA, I think, but yeah. College setting. Gorgeous rockstar. Yes, please. You can check it out on goodreads here.

I also went to NetGalley (which isn't breaking the ban) and found a book I'd heard about more than a year ago but lost sight of again. I don't know whether it was picked up by a different publisher or why it suddenly showed up there, but I requested it and was approved. Click here to get to goodreads.

But whatever, the story's still the same. And it's set in Prague! I was there for half a week this summer and loved the city. Also, it features not only vampires but also elves and witches and several other types of creatures. I look forward to reading it.

Oh, and I just found that Word and Breath is free on amazon at the moment (Friday night, dunno if it still is when you read this) so I had to have it.

Finally, I need to apologize. I was extremely busy this past week and had zero time to review anything or get a lot of non-university-related reading done. I hope I can post a review on Sunday though and be a better blogger next week.
