My pick this week:
Publisher: Harlequin
Format: Paperback, 304 pages
Goodreads description:
Rose Zarelli has big plans for sophomore year—everything is going to be different. This year, she’s going to be the talented singer with the killer voice, the fabulous girl with the fashionista best friend, the brainiac who refuses to let Jamie Forta jerk her around...
...but if she’s not careful, she’s also going to be the sister who misses the signals, the daughter who can only think about her own pain, the “good girl” who finds herself in mid-scandal again (because no good deed goes unpunished) and possibly worst of all...the almost-girlfriend.
When all else fails, stop looking for love and go find yourself.
I really enjoyed Confessions of an Angry Girl, the first book in the series! It was the first book I reviewed here that I got via NetGalley :) You can read what I thought here. It ended on sort of a cliffhanger, so I still hope that Confessions of an Almost Girlfriend will appear on NetGalley so that I can read it ahead of time! I also like that the focus is apparently on Rose finding herself rather than on loads and loads of romance. Though I do hope for some great scenes with her and Jamie ;)
What do you guys think of my pick? Have you read the first book or heard of the series? And what did you choose to highlight this week?
Ooohhh this is the first I have seen the cover and is great!!! Still need to read the first book though :-/ Heard great things about it!

I still haven't read Confessions, but need too, soon. This cover is great, btw. She looks super pissed, and I like when chicks get pissed, lol, it makes for a better read.
ReplyDeleteI have seen the first book in this series but haven't read it. I honestly don't know why as I was really interested in it. Well I hope I'll get to read them one day :)

ReplyDeleteThis is a good one. I mean, it sounds just so interesting. I haven't read the first, but this whole seris simply intrigues me. I'm looking forward to picking them up one day, so it's nice to know there's more than one, too.
